Our In-House Dental Lab
At our office, we strive to help make advanced dental and oral/maxillofacial treatment comfortable and convenient for all patients. In addition to our extensive experience treating a wide range of oral health concerns, this also includes our investment in advanced dental technologies and a fully outfitted, in-house dental laboratory. This has allowed us to centralize and streamline most diagnostic and treatment planning processes, as well as most of our dental, prosthodontic, and oral/maxillofacial treatments.
Dental X-rays are an essential part of keeping your dental records updated, and digitizing them enhances your routine dental care and diagnosis in several important ways. Using digital imaging technology instead of traditional, photo-based radiography allows us to capture detailed images of your teeth and oral structures almost instantly. Digital imaging also produces these images with up to 80% less radiation emission than conventional methods.
3D Cone-Beam Scanning
Cone-beam scanning, also known as computed tomography (CT) scanning, involves the use of several digital X-rays, each taken from a different angle of your oral structures. Unlike traditional digital X-rays, which provide a detailed 2D image, CT scanning helps us create a complete, 3D digital model of your teeth and oral structures. The digital model allows us to more accurately diagnose existing issues, as well as plan the most appropriate treatment processes to achieve optimal results for every patient.
Laser treatment is one of our most significant technological investments. The specially calibrated CO2 laser allows us to perform a wide range of dental treatments with significantly greater comfort, more precise results, and sometimes, no need for dental sedation. These include treating periodontal disease by eliminating the infection, hardening a composite filling, stimulating rapid teeth-whitening, and much more.
